Evyatar Zetuni, a 26-year-old commander in the Paratroopers, was critically injured on October 7th during a conflict with Hamas at Kibbutz Kissfuim near the Gaza border. He was swiftly transported to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, where he was put on ventilation and remained unconscious. Weeks later, Rabbi Yitzhak David Grossman from Migdal Haemek visited him, reciting Tehillim and offering words of encouragement to Zetuni’s parents. Just hours after Rabbi Grossman’s visit, Zetuni regained consciousness and reported feeling a significant impact that he believed brought him back to life, attributing his recovery to the strength of Rabbi Grossman’s prayers and spiritual presence.
Following his awakening, Zetuni has deepened his faith, regularly donning Tefillin and adhering more closely to Halacha, expressing gratitude to Rabbi Grossman for his spiritual support during this critical time.
