Each week’s parasha can provide specific messages relevant to us and our current life situations.
We may discover answers to the questions we have faced throughout the week or find guidance to meet the challenges with which we have been grappling.
On Shabbat, both human and Divine experience stillness. Humans observe Shabbat by refraining from worldly activities, which corresponds, on a higher level, to His observance of Shabbat, when He rests from acts of creation.
On both ends, this stillness facilitates an open flow between the Creator and His creations in the communication channel.
In particular, Shabbat has the potential to awaken within us an insight that will allow us to approach our challenges with renewed emunah (faith) and clarity.
